On December 14, 2012 a meeting was held at the residence of BM Da. Over steaming coffee and hot spicy ghobhi ka pakora, the Bondhus fine tuned the guidelines that would govern the Bondhu Mahal.

Your truly was nominated as President, Himanshu Acharya as Secretary and BM Da as treasurer and Chandan Das is our Joint Secretary – and thus got the nick name of Joda (joint). Not to forget our young brigade of Abhijeet Chatterjee and Sachin Wantoo who agreed to join our cause.

The proposal which started as casual discussion has now started taking shape. In next few hours the Memorandum of Association was drafted. The objectives were re-written and aims of Bondhu Mahal were re-defined as Brototi Boudi continued supplying pakoras and coffee.
